This obscure and rare album is the
brain child of Mark Freedman – a composer, multi-instrumentalist and
engineer. He operated under a variety of
monikers in the 80’s, most notably the Powerman name. He also owned and operated a New York based
recording studio called Battery Sound.
This project starts with three quirky female led minimal electro tracks
and then proceeds into a couple of more experimental male fronted tracks. The second side (East Side) kicks off with an
instrumental minimalist arrangement. The
closing number ‘Breakdown’ goes back to the cheeky female fronted electro
vibes.
